Bad wedding guests?

We did unfortuantly and I've also mentioned this before. My MIL was awful, she was in the bathrooms talking about me, telling people 'I was after DH for his money', had 'forced DH to marry me'. Other than her our guests were all wonderful.

That is terrible.

At least she didn't say something to your face.

My MIL took me to the side after the wedding and told me that she was calling a 'truce' b/c the last 6 months before the wedding she wanted to kill me. puhlease

Its really is sick how so mothers can't deal with their sons getting married. At least your MIL called a truce, mine is still picking fights and talking about me. Oh well.

i was told about these guests long after the wedding where they were drunk and hijacked the woman's bathroom and started to ***** and moan about their lives and causing a scene. to make it worse their date was in the bathroom with them

good thing I didnt know

I don't think I will ever understand how MIL's can treat someone that their son loves like that. Wouldn't they want to see their child happy??? He wouldn't be with you if he wasn't happy. Unless you got that whip so tight lol jk

yes. someone started a fight and went to stab someone on the dance foor with a fork

thankfully our best men escorted him out and i had no idea anything went down until the limo ride over to the hotel after the reception

You know what its not a whip that I have its a leash lol.
I don't take it personally anymore, because she is just wacked, she is like this with everyone. Even her own kids, she talks behind their backs, and says hurtful things to them because she doesn't want anyone to be happy.

DH's neighbor/ friend got totally wrecked, and grabbed another guy's GF's A ss a few times. That was real nice.
Then he had to be carried out of there from the bathroom. Thankfully we knew nothing of this, till days after, so he didnt make a scene.

I didn't have any bad guests at my wedding at all. I didn't really expect to though because my wedding was fairly small with only my closest family & friends. Barely anybody brought any dates that I didn't know either, maybe only a few. So the fact that we all have a strong relationship with one another (and none of them are crazy alcoholics) it would be very strange for anything embarrassing to happen.

In my own opinion though, a 'bad wedding guest' is somebody who comes without a gift or even just a CARD to say congratulations. That's kind of hurtful. I had a couple of those. Each one of them had claimed to have 'forgotten' it and told me they'd mail it over to my house, but of course never did.

So all in all - nothing horrible. Just a couple rude ones.

I agree that a bad wedding guest also includes bad etiquette...it's rude and hurtful. One of my close friends didn't get me a card or a present and I was upset...it was worse when she kept saying she would send me a gift. Our relationship hasn't been the same since...
As far as at the actual wedding....well, does it count that a friend breastfed her baby at the table during dinner and (not positively sure about this one) during your ceremony???

Nothing happened at our wedding but during the week of welcome festivities (wedding was in Hawaii) my DH and brother got on stage at our luau , dressed up in grass skirts and coconut bras as part of the show. Instead of doing the hula like they were supposed to, they started bumping and grinding . It got SO crazy that DH busted my brother's coconut bra off. Let's just say the MC of the luau was not pleased. We have the whole thing on video and I was still cracking up last night when I realized it was posted on a bridesmaid's facebook

Then my brother continued to drink a lot and passed out on the steps near our table and barely made it back to the bus. My bridesmaids had a bit of fun with him and drew with makeup all over his face. We also have those pics.
