Anyone ever stay at Hotel Riu (next to the Atlantis) in the Bahamas? How was it? I am going in Dec.

My friend is staying there for her wedding in August. She says that it is supposed to be great, newly renovated. It's not too big so you don't have to deal with overcrowding and supposedly you get a day pass to the atlantis! Have fun!

DH and I stayed there last year. We thought it was OK. We did have more fun at the Breezes on Nassau but the Riu is a nice hotel.

We stayed in Nov of 2005. We loved it, It was the perfect size the restaurants and food was just enough, no room service but there was enough buffets open late night so there was no need for 24hr room service. The shoes at night were alright.
At any point you can walk next store and go shopping, drink, eat and play in the casino at the Atlantis. The beaches and employees were awesome there. I d go back.
