baked salmon- did i do it rightt

what do u guys put in ur recipe??

this probably sounds so stupid but im not cooking savy

i got a fillet and marinated it in

vinegar
lemon juice
a lil salt
a lil black pepper
a lil parsely
a lil basil
a teensy bit of crushed red paper
n a lil garlic

and thats it? ill put olive oil in the pan before i decide to bake it...
does that sound really off?? i tasted the marination it didnt taste that great...actually lemony...but im assuming the fish will absorb it and it will be diluted in the olive oil

What kind of vinegar did you use??? I would use Balsamic because it has a high sugar content and will caremelize well and turn sweet unlike other vinegar!! HOw did it come out???
