Just made a batch of brownies and they looked delicious...
UNTIL I had to take them out of the NON stick pan! Ugh they broke and are horrible now. I let them completely cool and tried to take them out of the pan and place them on a cooling rack. What gives?! I hate you calphalon!
Vent over.

Re: Baking Vent-
I just helped my SS bake some brownies... We added CANOLA oil to the mix.. It was perfect. It didn't stick and they were nice and soft. Next time try it..

Re: Baking Vent-
That stinks! Was it a light colored pan? I have these litle colored Wilton pans and if I just spray them whatever I put in them always sticks so I use Crisco (like the old fashioned tub of it) on those pans. I'm sure they were still delicious though, right?

Re: Baking Vent-
Use Pam (or some other baking spray), make the fudge kind, and under cook by a minute or two. They will come out much better and will be moist and yummy.

The problem wasnt moisture or yumminess..they were actually the best brownies I have ever made! It was just that they had a difficultt time coming out of the pan! I used pam too!

Re: Baking Vent-
My MIL, who is a terrific baker, told me to always line the pan with foil, then spray it. She also told me to let them cool for a few minutes and then put them in the freezer so they are less likely to stick.Sounds wierd, but it works every time.

I'm telling you, Crisco in the tub form is the way to go! Nothing sticks!

I ALWAYS use crisco. I won't use pam, because of the propellants. Over time it leaves a residue on the pams that you can't get off.

Crashing, hope that's ok!
I line everything with Reynolds RELEASE Alum. Foil. I've been using it since it came out years ago, and no more sticking problems ever! Seriously, it's my favorite invention!

I usually make them in a glass pan and never had a problem before.

Re: Baking Vent-
I can't believe you are baking in this heat!!!
but I'm in a fight with Pam right now. Pam ruined a bunch of my pans. It leaves a residue that you can't get off the stainless steal pans. No more pam for me.
