I don't have a secret account but we both have our own individual checking and savings accounts in addition to our joint checking and savings.

DH and I have a joint checking (for our bills) and a joint Savings account. We each have our own seperate checking as well. We both know they exhist, but we don't talk about how much money is in there. That's the only way I could surprise DH with his anniversary trip.

We have a joint account...but my mom always told me to have a seperate account of my own. I don't have one though...its hard enough saving money for the both of us

nope we have had jointed accounts for a while now...even before we got married....and i would never keep a secret account bc i would be pissed if i found out dh had a secret account

no secret account, we have joint accounts and I have one small savings account of my own that i will prob. use for something that will benefit the both of us like travel or dh's xmas presents. or if mama needs a new pair of shoes... etc

We have our own banking accounts....... plus I have my own ING account. My DH doesn't know how much I have in my ING account and it doesn't bother him.....but he knows about the account. It's a savings account that I have for rainy days.......or emergencies.
