They told me that was a tankini when i emailed the website- It is 2 pieces- I guess they consider it a tankini? Just trying to help. I know Macys has a lot of good names.

Stef will you pose in the bathing suit from JC penny when it comes? Let me know about the quality as well.

No prob- good luck with the search! I know how fustrating it can be- not a skinny mini and not a plus size- I guess no one is ever happy with what they have- I know I am not.

Re: Bathing Suit Help...

Stef you are like me, when I view the pix, all I do is go thru them and go, no flabby arms, can't share this one, my gut is pushed out in this one, can't show this one, no a roll is showing. I am very critical. I have ripped up a whole roll of pix before. I like them both. Speigel has great quality stuff so I know you will not hate it. I guess the fit is what I would want to know about.

Re: Bathing Suit Help...

I haven't bought a bathing suit in ages! Its so rare that I have the opportunity to wear them in SF, that the few I have have lasted years.

I like some of these pictures though - perhpaps I should move out of bikini land and into tankinis...

any recommendations for ones that enhance the bust? I have different issues than Stef

Re: Bathing Suit Help...

Lisa, you can check them out online too. I do not have very big girls and the miracle suits or the very sexy bras are a God send.

Part One: Spiegel Bathing Suit Review

As requested..here is a quick run down on the bathing suit I ordered

Spiegels got it to me pretty quickly so that was good. The price was very good.

I tried it on and of course its a tad bit too small on top..but for me that is true of ALL bathing suits so its something I have to live with. (I wear a 36D bra and it seems every bathing suit is made for 36Cs). The bottoms fit true to size.

Anyway - the material looks pretty good by the light of my living room..but only beach light will be a true test. The bra part has these inserts which will prevent the dreaded 'headlights' without adding bulk.

Going on vacation this week so I will have my full review when I get back :D
