08'er crashing...

I stayed at a great bnb in Cooperstown, NY- near the Baseball Hall of Fame last year. It's called the Landmark Inn Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in room 10- it had it's own seperate entrance. Here's the link...

Are you looking for Manhattan, or NYC including boroughs, or perhaps a suburb (NJ/W'Chester/CT)? I might have a few rec's for you if we can narrow it down a bit!!

At this point DH & I are open to anything since we have been on 3 vacas on our 5+ year together. One to the poconos (the land of love hee-hee) cut short by a death in his family. A 7 day cruise to Bahamas and Florida where we hit a hurricane on the way to the Bahamas so we never docked there. So we payed a shiit load to go to Florida on a boat . The third was our HM which we loved but we missed American cheese and coffee. I might help to add were thinking of making it a 3 night 4 day getaway.

WOWWWW!!! Well at least you had your honeymoon, 3rd time was the charm!!!
OK just off the top of my head, I'd recommend...

SKYTOP in the Poconos, its GORGEOUS, but you may not want to go there again if you've already been?

If you're skiiers, surgarloaf is awesome, thats a bit far though... Upstate NY skiing can be ok in Jan/Feb at Wyndham & Hunter, there are very cute lodges up there.

Mystic, CT is beautiful, I forget the place we stayed 2 years ago, but there are a ton of b&bs there....

OOOH I can also recommend my RH
<----- in Tarrytown!!
We did a getaway weekend there for my birthday back in August, it was awesome. Its a small luxury hotel (I think 30 rooms and 5 suites?). Amazing restaurant, there are pics in my album... and its Tarrytown so its about 20 minutes out of NYC, the entire area is FILLED with things to do (the farm at stone hill, roosevelt nature conservancy, sleepy hollow, etc)!
