so sad he was only 50 years old.

he had pnenuomia and was in the hosptial, he died from complication from the pneuomina

Awwwwwwe, I really liked him on Kings of Comedy.

He was in the news not too long ago too, he cause a lil controversy when he did stand up at one of Obamas rallies. Guess he was a lil too raunchy for them.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me & DH both loved him!!!!!!! we used to watch his show......this is so incredibly sad! too young for him to die, especially from pneumonia at 50!! pneumonia is what did my dad in too, but he was way older at least. RIP Bernie!

wow that's so sad, I can't believe it. It's crazy when things like that happen
But I have to thank you girls because I finally knew something before DH, he always makes fun of me because I hate watching the news & I'm always clueless as to whats going on in the world

I am in total shock. I met him a few years ago at the HBO Comedy Festival & he was the NICEST man

BVery sad. The news said he had a previous lung condition whicch the doctors didnt think was the cause of death, but it might have weakened his lungs to the point of being harder to fight off the pneumonia. Thats no joke. Very very scary and makes you realize you have to really live each day as if it could be your last honestly.

Heart goes out to his family.
