The Ave Maria is a very special song for me. It was sung at my grandmother's funeral and at my wedding. . . I was so excited to hear that she was going to sing it and then what the heck did she actually sing? And not to be an old fart, she looked AMAZING but I didn't think that dress was appropriate for the occasion OR the song.
I thought I was the only one who thought something, actually my mom commented on it too - but then on Z100 they were talking about it.

I think her dress looked better on the tv than that picture posted does. IT wasn't that bad. She's very pretty. the song was different.

Yeah, when I was watching I said something to DH about her dress. I thought it was a bit inappropriate because it was pretty low cut and she had St. Patrick's Cathedral behind her in the background. I also thought I was the only one thinking this, but felt better when I heard them talking about it on the radio this morning.

I don't think the dress was super flattering on her. But I think it was fine for the occasion. The sarkles were fun and christmasy- and the tree lighting is a fun occasion and is supposed to have an element of fun which I think is what she thought the dress did maybe?
I am not crazy about the dress, and wasnt the most flattering dress on her. She has a great body but watching the video posted in this thread, i felt it made her too wide. And looking at this pic and seeing the dress close up, i just dont like the style of it. Sometimes she wears great things but sometimes i think 'WHAT ARE YOU WEARING' but everyone has their own style and its what she likes, shes a gorgeous girl so she can pull off most of the things she wears. But yeah a religious song during a christmas show, i would say no to a very deep plunging neck line

Im kinda sick of beyonce.. i feel like shes on a commercial every time i turn on the tv and shes plastered all over every magazine. I dont get the whole sasha fierce thing ( why does she have a name that she calls herself on stage? - weird) But regardless of how i feel about her i dont think that dress fit the whole theme.
Beyonce is normally shy, and even growing up people would be very surprised by her when she performed bc she normally was shy and laid back. She said once she gets on stage though, she turns into somebody else and her shyness and all that just goes away. So since she says she is somebody else while on stage, she always had a nickname for her personality while performing and this is it.
