Birth Control Question

If you have skipped your period with the pill dose it make your hormones go crazy?
My doctor wants me to start skipping it now, but I wanted to know if it effected any of you?
I would LOVE not to have my period for a while, but I don't want to be one big hormone

My hormones went out of wack. My face broke out and I spotted for a little over a week each month I skipped. My chest also grew a size and was incredibly sore the entire time... I didn't have a great experience with this. However, I was successful in moving my period so it wouldnt interfere with my big day.

mine was fine- i only skipped one month but it was ok- no major problems.

I just did it for my wedding last month - ok here is what happened - I had no issue for the skipped month - but when it came time for AF this month - I had major PMS - I was so bloated I gained like 5 lbs (which immediately came off), I had some migranes and some mood swings - things I don't usually get when I am PMS - in otherwords like double PMS - not much fun - but I would consider doing it again for special trips ONLY.
What pills do you take I think that makes a difference too.
