I usually just use a vanilla box mix for this but I am sure there are tons of vanilla cake recipes online..i trust paula deen's recipes! But it works with just the box...this is my favorite quick and easy standby!

my favorite from scratch cake to make is red velvet! yum1

you wanna really make a cool creative cake, make a checkerboard cake!! you can use two flavors. FM if you want details! i don't wanna post a big long thing! :o) it's my FAVE!!!!
