black marks on the walls... what gets them out?

I hate those unsightly black/grey marks on the wall (like when you're dragging luggage or big heavy boxes etc)... what gets them out?

DEF the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!!!! I've used it for this exact reason before!

Thanks I'll have to try it !!!

I tried soap and water and it only faded it a little but didn't remove it... I hate looking at it bc it makes the walls look dirty :(

Alitte rubbing alcohol on a papertowel. Not too much though or it will take the paint off! It workds great and then we use touch up paint!

See I would've guessed the Magic Eraser, too, but then in my post about it, Jenn (JBoothIn) said you cant use it on like painted walls... unless they are a matte finish, then maybe you can. She said it takes the shine off them?
