DH and i cannot come up with a name that we both like. we have one but i feel like you need to have 2 names becuase you never know your baby could come out looking not like the name you pick (if that makes sense)
we want something not too common. but not completely wacky!
oh and so far its a removed names if theres any family lurking! sorry

SANTINO!!!! he has watched Godfather too many times.
I worked in a nursery in college and there was a baby named Santino he was the cutest...I love that name
when I heard that name, I thought immediately of that guy on Project Runway Season 2. He'd always say 'It's the Santino Show!' lol. That's the first time I'd ever heard that name

Sometimes girls names seem to be so much harder then a boys name in my opinion.

i hate to post it b/c of lurkers BUT DH and I already know what our first daughter's name is going to be (and we have a plan that will guarantee us a daughter b/c we both want one so badly) when DH's sister got pregnant we were so afraid it was going to be a girl b/c we didn't want her to steal our name hahahaha but my niece is going to be named Sierra so luckily the name we love is still up for grabs
the name is Ava James - and AJ could be her nickname - i LOVE boy names for girls and so does DH - and its even more special b/c she will be named after her daddy (i refuse to name our future son (if we have one) James - there are already 3 and enough is enough )
we also love the name Alba for a girl as well - in one of our favorite books (the time traveler's wife) there is a character named Alba and it made us both fall in love with the name - we just can't think of a middle name to go with it yet....
for boys we have no name ideas at all.....
so i like, ava, alba, sierra which is going to be my neice's name - DH likes emma and i like that too but it reminds me to much of rachel's baby on friends - i also like savannah
Let us in on this plan to guarantee a girl! LOL

Oh yehh! That would be bad because you cannot abbreviate Chanel. What would you do, Chane? Nel? I think that the kid would want to change its name from the abuse lol
