i hate to post it b/c of lurkers BUT DH and I already know what our first daughter's name is going to be (and we have a plan that will guarantee us a daughter b/c we both want one so badly) when DH's sister got pregnant we were so afraid it was going to be a girl b/c we didn't want her to steal our name hahahaha but my niece is going to be named Sierra so luckily the name we love is still up for grabs

the name is Ava James - and AJ could be her nickname - i LOVE boy names for girls and so does DH - and its even more special b/c she will be named after her daddy (i refuse to name our future son (if we have one) James - there are already 3 and enough is enough )

we also love the name Alba for a girl as well - in one of our favorite books (the time traveler's wife) there is a character named Alba and it made us both fall in love with the name - we just can't think of a middle name to go with it yet....

for boys we have no name ideas at all.....

so i like, ava, alba, sierra which is going to be my neice's name - DH likes emma and i like that too but it reminds me to much of rachel's baby on friends - i also like savannah

For years now I always thought I would name my first little girl Savannah Rose but DH laughed at me when i told him. he hates it so much that it isn't even up for consideration.

how about Alba Jade? I love Jade for a middle name. Oliva Jade but DH doesn't like it. I love Ava, but can't think of a middle name. I also like Ryan for a girl but DH's best firend is named ryan so he said no. why does it seem like I have no say? lol

I like Lorelei also. It is not very common but I could never think of a middle name to go with it.

great minds think alike...i seriously used to call my barbie dolls madelyn or maddie lol

but whose going to have the daughter first....so at least we can space them and not have our two daughters the same age playing together lol hearing Maddie from both of us might confuse them lolol

yelley that is so funny you suggested Alba Jade - i wanted to name my dog Jade b/c i love the name so much but when i saw her she did not look like a Jade so i decided that a 'dog' name would be more suitable for her hahahahaha.......but i always loved that name - never thought to put it with Alba - good thinking!
