Okay, I've pressed some of the flowers from my bouquet, and plan to frame those eventually along with photos. My thought was to make a collage of photos, invitations, the flowers, etc.
However, I hung the rest of my bouquet to dry, and I can't decide what to do with it now. It doesn't look pretty, and I can't bring myself to throw it out, but storing it seems silly. I know I won't look at it much once it's put away.
What did you guys do with your bouquets?

Re: Bouquets?
Mine dried decently, so I sprayed it with a preserving spray & pit it ona glass dislpay box on my dresser.

Re: Bouquets?
My mother and I diodn't know what to do with it or how to preserve it. So, I kept few petals from my bouquet and I wraped them in a paper towel and put in a zip lock bag and left it in my guest book from my bridal shower. What a mistake it was to do that. It looks like there is mold growing on it. It is gross, but I can’t bear to part with it. I didn’t know how else to store it. It is sentimental to me. I think I'll hold onto it.

Re: Bouquets?
Mine boquet of white roses and blue hydrangeas did not dry well at all. The hydrangeas dried all scrunched up. I wound up throwing it out:(
I'd like to recreate it using lose flowers (do it myself) and dry it using some of that preservative solution. Another project

Re: Bouquets?
I tossed mine. As much as I loved it and as heartbreaking as it was to put it in the compost heap, that's where it ended up. The only thing I can hope is that other beautiful flowers will bloom because of it!

Re: Bouquets?
I have mine hanging upside sown in my bedroom- still haven't decided what to do with it. Using that spray sounds like a good idea, I just don't really have the room to display it.

Re: Bouquets?
I hung my bouquet upside down in my closet for about a year. DH recently put it in a vase with another dried flower bouquet and it kinda looks pretty.

Re: Bouquets?
threw it in the garbage I wanted to save it but was so busy the few days after the wedding it started to die so I just threw it away. I have so many pics of it. It was BEAUTIFUL!

Re: Bouquets?
Nothing....my parents had all the bouquets displayed at their house after the wedding. I LOVED my bouquet, all pink titanic roses but I figured the arrangement wasn't anything different to save, I have the pictures, woul dhave loved to have it preserved but it's ok!
Another LI bride suggested spraying the bo-k with hairspray, so after our wedding, my mom and aunt did and the flowers immediately started to wilt Now it's all dried up and tiny, but I can't bear to throw it away. It's packed in a box now and hopefully one day I will be able to do something with it.
Mine was all wrong so I couldn't bear to look at it so I threw it away the next morning.

Re: Bouquets?
Someone told me to put it in the freezer, so I did while I was on my honeymoon. Now it looks pretty wilted so I'm just going to hang it out to dry.

Re: Bouquets?
I guess I'm the hairspray bride. I hung it to dry and then about a month later I sprayed it. It's displayed in a crystal vase in my glass entertainment center. It's survived 3 moves so far but it is very fragile.

Mine dried nicely and is sitting in a vase on one of our end tables. It smells like maple syrup....weird!
