Went to go get a manicure pedicure. In the middle of that a worker there comes up to me and asks if he can give me a back massage. I always say yes and let him and then always put his tip in the tip jar that says in big letters Don't Forget to Tip (where the drying machines for your nails are). Mind you, not to toot my own horn but I am a pretty generous tipper. Well on my way out the owner comes near me to move my chair ' I thought she was just being hospititable). Then she starts looking at the jar and talking to the guy who gave me the massage in their language. Then looks back at me and says 'Ahh did you tip him for your massage'. I looked at her without even thinking and said 'Of course I tipped him, why wouldn't I'. Then I told her that was very insulting and started walking out. She then felt stupid and started smiling and told me have a great day I just kept shaking my head at her in disgust. I will never go back there! Who does that?

wow that is rude...some people wait until the end to tip after everything is done and about to leave, and for her to come up and ask you is just wrong.

Right in my situation I was in the middle of my manicure while he was massaging me. I wasn't about to go in my bag and tip him while my nails were soaking. Also it is a known fact that his tip jar is where the nail dryers are. People aren't going to miss it especially because it says in big red letters 'don't Forget Tip'. I am so upset I would never not tip anyone even if their service stinks. My mother is a hair stylist so I know how hard people work for tips. I am glad no one else was in there I would have been even more pissed off and embarrassed.

ARG! Totally rude!!!
Actually, its a shame there wasn't someone else in there to hear her say that. They deserve to lose more business if they treat their customers like that.

I agree ! Who knows maybe she would have never said that if more customers were around here, but you are right!
