Bridal Shower location in Queens or Manhattan

Bridal Shower location in Queens or Manhattan

Can you recommend a shower location in either Manhattan or Queens for about 30 people? It has to be near a subway since most of the guests do not have transportation. I am on a very tight budget because I have 3 showers to plan this summer. I would like to keep it under $35 pp
TIA!

I am sure more girls will answer in the AM.

I had my shower at Connelly's Corner in Maspeth right off of the LIE, I think there is mass transit near by. I don't know how much it was, but we had about 50 women and they have this one room that has all windows, floor to ceiling, and it's just really cute.

Have you ever been to Alice's Tea Cup in Manhattan? It's very cute; there are three or four locations and I looked into their prices for a bridal shower recently (so I can drop the hint to my MOH - my kid sister - as we both love the place!) and it's $30 a person, plus tax and tip of course.

As it's in Manhattan, it'll be close to public transportation. If you like tea, you'll like this place...the tea menu alone is pages and pages long!

HTH

eta: For showers, the $30 covers a pot of tea, scones w/ jam and cream, sandwiches, that kind of thing. Their cakes are AMAZING, too.

Yes, I'm throwing my friend's baby shower there next weekend. It's cute!

Does it matter what kind of food it is? I have a few places in mind...

I'm not sure if this is what I have in mind but can some one post the website for Alice's Tea Cup?
I'm afraid the search because my laptop was just infected with a virus and I'm doing a full computer scan right now.

we weren't offered any alcohol packages so I'm assuming that they don't serve alcohol.

You should check out:
Josie's
Citrus on the Upper West Side
Choice Kitchen and Cocktails
Agave in West Village
La Palapa in the West Village
Ciao Bella on the Upper East Side

Choice is great and they do showers all the time
Citrus and Josie's are the same owners so the food is always fantastic and very healthy!

I also really love Uva

They have a great wine cellar downstairs and also
Inoteca is great. I've been to the oneon the LES for a private party and it's a cute space.
