bringin' it waaaay back!

Original post by jtgarsik

Alright girls...do a search & post ur very FIRST post on liw! (and it can't be a response to someone else's post...find your very first actual thread post!) Best way to find it & narrow down the pages; Go to search...then type ur username into the 'search for post member' box, and then put an approx. timeline of dates that u think u started using LIW in the 'search posts between' box ..it'll pull up ur posts between whichever dates u put in!

Mine was so boring

found it!

Danfords on the Sound, Pt. Jeff??

Hi. We are considering Danfords in Pt Jeff for our reception site, but we don't have much info on them. I'd love to hear from anyone who has had their wedding there, is having it there, or has been to a wedding or other function there. Thanks!

and of course we booked there, though we went through 3 different catering managers.

Re: bringin' it waaaay back!

I searched for my first post by putting in the dates when I started looking at the site. My first post was actually a response and like many of you I never introduced myself either. By the time I thought about it, I thought I had too many posts to introduce myself.

Re: What is your FINAL favor choice?

I am thinking about donating to the American Cancer Society. It's a gift that will actually be put to good use.

Wondering if someone can tell me about their experience with Jericho Terrace's pricing for mid October 2007. In addition, who would you recommend talking/deal with? Lastly, and tips before signing the contract. Thanks for your time and attention!

Here's mine:

I met Ron!

Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking around for a few weeks now looking at everyone's gorgeous pictures! I've fallen in love with CaMacho's wedding, and seen some other beautiful ones. I met Ron last night at the East Wind Showcase...what a super nice guy!! I'm planning a Fall (Sept/Oct) 07 wedding. Looked at The carlyle on the green and StoneBridge so far, going to see Bellport Country Club, Giorgios and Atlantis Marine World this weekend.
Has anyone given their FH any specific jobs to do...like book the limos or anything. I want him to be involved, but if I don't give him something tangible to do I'll just take over.

Thanks for all the great ideas so far!!!

lol--Ron posted on my first thread too..its pretty funny...

Cute idea! Mine was sooo boring!

Hi there! Im recently engaged and trying to plan a wedding on Long Island from Washington, DC. Fun :P

My question for you very knowledgeable girls... I plan to have my ceremony at my location site. I am leaning towards the Hamlet Wind Watch. Their policy is that you pay $5 per person for the ceremony to be there. Is this standard? It seems awfully high. The other sites Ive called quote me a flat rate (usually about $350).

Please let me know if you have any input!
Thanks!

I have a strange question. I am a little concerned about the dark hair on my arms. It's not too bad, but it bothers me. Has anyone ever had arm hair waxed off? I have very sensitive skin and I'm worried that I shouldn't do it. Any advice?

BTW: I did it and I am so glad I did!

Subject: We're Engaged!!!

I am so excited, I can't stop smiling & looking at my ring! Finally after 5 years and 2 months!!!

My head is spinning, I don't know what to do first ... but EVERYONE keeps asking me when the wedding is going to be. No big surprise there I guess, they've been asking when we're getting engaged for years now!

It hasn't even been a week yet, we just got engaged on Friday of Memorial Day Weekend.

What did you girls do first?!

Any cute ideas for asking the bridal party?
