Alright girls...do a search & post ur very FIRST post on liw! (and it can't be a response to someone else's post...find your very first actual thread post!) Best way to find it & narrow down the pages; Go to search...then type ur username into the 'search for post member' box, and then put an approx. timeline of dates that u think u started using LIW in the 'search posts between' box ..it'll pull up ur posts between whichever dates u put in!
Mine was so boring

if u click on search, type in ur user name, and a time line (around when u think u started posting)...ie: i typed in my user name, and then the month i got engaged through the following two months.

i cant find mine either. there are 40 pages and that only goes back to 9/9/07! but, same as taryn, my silly ars didnt even think to say hello. i think i remember jumping right in to ask where i could find this...
a pewter ring for my ringbearer to bring the rings up, you tie them in the ribbon.
im such a dork. the first response i think i got was... ' what is it?!'

Re: bringin' it waaaay back!
ps: u can downsize the amount of pages by playing with the 'search posts between' button and typing in dates...so u'd put ur name in the 'search for post member' and then an approx. date of when u think u started posting..

Here's mine: My BF curliegirl (Gina) welcomed me!
Hi everyone!! I'm so excited to join you guys!! In fact, I was so excited I spelled my username wrong and spelled girl with two ll's!!! haha! As Gina said, I've been a lurker for quite some time. You guys have been a great resource for all the weddings I've been a bridesmaid in!! Looking forward to getting to know you all!!
P.S. I asked Ron and Liz to fix my screenname but they never responded... hence the two L's in my name today!!

Re: bringin' it waaaay back!
this is such a cute thread! I've gotta go find mine!
ps Pinkiegirll07: Your friend Gina (aka Curliegirl) was one of the first brides to help me out! She's the reason I hired Bliss Productions! Probably the reason you hired them too! I had wanted to get married at the Sagamore my whole life! Her wedding was beautiful and it's such an amazing place!
Ok here's mine although I find it hard to believe this was actually my first post - response to a Bourne Mansion thread -
'My fiance and I are literally just about to sign our contract with Ben for September 2007 at The Bourne Mansion. We have met with him twice and so far everything has gone well. We got a pretty good impression. Does anyone have any suggestions or questions we need to be sure to ask Ben before we sign the contract? Also, did anyone have any problems the day of their event, were the bathrooms sufficient, and did the guests have any complaints or compliments? Are the staff at Bourne flexible and accomodating regarding specific decorations? Thanks!!'

(and don't miss the 'deleted scenes' they're hysterical).
That's the Gartner video: 'Don't let invitations push you over the edge' where its a bridal asylum? That thing still makes me laugh....

here is mine!
'Hi everyone!
I've been a lurker on the boards for about 2 months now. You all seem to be having so much fun, so I decided it was finally time to post!
We have been dating for a little less then a year and he asked me to marry him about 2 months ago!
We went ring shopping and he hinted that I will be getting it sometime on our trip to London and Paris in August
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday so far!!'

Re: bringin' it waaaay back!
Would you believe it was DIY related?!?!?!?
Let's see if this works! What do you girls think I was trying to use a celtic font but they're too rigid, so I used a celtic knot in the backround...

Re: bringin' it waaaay back!
This was my first attempt in trying to make a thread...it didn't work....no one responded...LOL.... Since, then I've had more luck...I was already married when I joined LIW...I never posted an introduction...I just went right to the point..LOL. I wish I knew about this site when I was planning my wedding...I was a lurker for awhile before I finally started posting...I've learned a lot from being on this site...I've been able to help my BFF with her wedding....I look forward to one day being a DOC.....still have a long way to go...

I had my wedding at in Brooklyn. Since, I didn't have much time to plan for the wedding...I booked the first place that I saw... (I did receive some good references from other people...) I have to say I wasn't very happy with the service...the food was very good...but I everything else ****** basically...no use in crying over spilled milk..
Did anyone else have a bad experience with their reception hall? 9/24/07
