Help...kind of screwed up our Rosh Hashana dinner. Did brisket in crockpot, but mixed up crock and lid size, and brisket is TOUGH! I hour till hubby home. I just poured in some more liquid but any suggestions? Beer?

Oh I just saw this post today! How did it go?? We are going to MIL's tonight for Rosh Hashanah dinner, I will ask her for you in case it happens again :(

I sliced it up and put it back in crock. It was ok. He's a goy so he kinda doesn't know what it should taste like. I let the leftovers in for a few more hours, they were much better!
