So I burnt my neck on 360 degrees of curling iron last Friday
I've been putting some sorta triple antibiotic ointment on it.
Is there ANYTHING ELSE I can possibly put on this thing to actually diminish it? I have a couple parties this weekend and really don't want to look like a silly who-ah
I'm sick of wrapping my neck up 24-7 in my scarves!

WHOA! Honey thats OUCH!
Hmm My mom always used Silvadene. You usually need a Rx for it but your doc would easily write one if you have that bad a burn. Its a cream and thick and all but works REALLY well to stop the stinging and the itching. But do keep it wrapped if you go out to prevent infection.

ETA: You shouldwear your hair up -grins- and rock a really cute bandage like Da Bratz or Pooh. Make it wok for you.

I'll tell you a little story to make you laugh b/c I know how much curling iron burns s uck.
Years ago, I was sitting at my vanity doing my hair. So, you know how sometimes when you are blow drying, you'll put the dryer between your legs while you prep an area....? Yeah... I did that... with the HOT CURLING IRON. That looked pretty and felt REALLY good.

Re: Burn baby burn
Try Maderma... it's great for reducing the apperance of scars!
When I was in 4th grade, I wanted my mom to curl my bangs for the class picture... yeah, well, she wound up burning my forehead, so that little injury is forever emblazened in the my 4th grade picture!!!!

Oh no hope it heals in time for the parties. I hate having to look like a silly who-ah who wears a lot of scarves.

I know this is gonna sound 'granola-crunchy' but if you can find a natural store or something that sells comfrey salve, it works wonders!! And it's great for preventing scarring!
