Buying a home?

Hi ladies-

This is my first time posting on the Newlywed boards! Congratulations to everyone on their weddings! =)

DH and I are looking into maybe purchasing a condo in Nassau. We would like to speak with a mortgage broker or someone who could educate us on the process and discuss finances and what's feasible.

Anyone have any referrals or experiences they can share?

Thanks in advance!!

i know a lot of people buy condos in Great Neck, and that surrounding area

I had a great mortgage broker through Coldwell Banker Home Loans - his name is Matthew Kiss and he was so helpful throughout the whole process. Definitely give him a call - i'll FM you his info!

congrats!!!!

If you need anything let me know, I became a realtor because I couldn't stand the fact that many of the realtors were 20 years older than me and didn't understand my needs and wants. I have some great resources and people I work with as well...:)

Re: Buying a home?

I'm not a newlywed but just wanted to tell you another good spot for condos and coops is Long Beach.

Have at least 20% to put down or most banks will make you take out private mortgage insurance PMI.
