So I get an invitation today for my DH friends wedding.....rsvp date was 6/1, wedding is 7/16. I have no intention of going but I will send a gift. I really think that sending an invitation this close to the wedding is kinda rude. I never got the whole A list B list thing, I invited everyone I wanted knowing at least 10% would day no. I dont know maybe I'm just moody today, had to vent

I agree that is very rude!!!! Esp to send you an invitation for a wedding SO soon and for an RSVP date that already passed!

Re: C-Listed
I would be annoyed too....I'd probably send a card to congratulate them - but probably not a gift

I wouldn't send anything.
sorry, but it's rude to send an invite after the RSVP date already passed.

I agree.
I did an A and B list (too much family, not enough $$$ for them all) but I had my invites printed with 2 different RSVP dates. I would never send out an invite past the RSVP date.
