Calling all SECRET SANTAS - applications for the red suit close this Friday.

I know, i know...its only mid October. But I want to give everyone plenty of time for this one (since last years was rushed) and be all done way before Christmas so it doesnt become too much of a burden on anyone.

Sound good?

I need: A volunteer who is good at keeping secrets but does not want to participate in the Secret Santa exchange and is willing to dole out assignments. (I will send that person the info, all they have to do is randomly choose partners and email each person with their gift-ee)

Proposed rules:
1. If you want to participate, have your LIW name, real name, real address to me no later than Nov 1.
2. Assignments will be given by first week of November.
3. Gift MUST be sent no later than Dec 1.
4. Gifts should be in the $20 range.

What do you think? Of course, all is up for discussion!

Stef if for any reason Lisa decides she want to participate. I will volunteer. I am upstate here and I don't really know many people on here sooo that makes me a good canidate and a good secret keeper!!

Can we have the participants FM what they like (in general terms) to the secret keeper? Otherwise, how will we know that the receipient will like the gift?

You have FM too Stef. I say when we get our assignments, we should all suggest a few items that we would love Santa to bring!

Personally - im not crazy about the wish list. Then it becomes just getting what someone asked for when the point is it should be a game of trying to get something they will like.

Last year we had a big post to talk about all the participants hobbies and interests and favorite colors, etc.. So then each santa could read that and come up with some ideas.

If everyone wants to do the wish list, i wont stop you but i think that takes a lot of the fun out if it.

I would love to participate, but the timing isn't good for me. I don't have the time or energy to put into finding the perfect gift, and I won't go in unless I can give 100%
