Calling all SECRET SANTAS - applications for the red suit close this Friday.
Original post by Sonicstef
I know, i know...its only mid October. But I want to give everyone plenty of time for this one (since last years was rushed) and be all done way before Christmas so it doesnt become too much of a burden on anyone.
Sound good?
I need: A volunteer who is good at keeping secrets but does not want to participate in the Secret Santa exchange and is willing to dole out assignments. (I will send that person the info, all they have to do is randomly choose partners and email each person with their gift-ee)
Proposed rules: 1. If you want to participate, have your LIW name, real name, real address to me no later than Nov 1. 2. Assignments will be given by first week of November. 3. Gift MUST be sent no later than Dec 1. 4. Gifts should be in the $20 range.
What do you think? Of course, all is up for discussion!

I first thought excluding others would cause problems and be rude but I definitely see your points....it would be a lot more fun to exchange with a 'friend' on here than something I don't even know!

Do you think we should close the applications early (like this Friday) so everyone on the list has an early jump on the shopping and stuff? Or should we wait until the end of October?

Does anyone object to closing it early? Was there anyone on vacation last week and this week?

That makes 21. If you have sent me your info and your name is not on here, please let me know. If you have volunteered but think you might drop out, please do so now (doing it later means someone does not get a gift).
