Is the weather and roads by you in PA that bad??
i worked at a daycare for years...one was connected to the school system, so if the public schools had a delay we did - closings were negotiable depending on how bad it really was. I did however work at an independent one that was connected to the IRS..it was very rare that we had a closing...only if it was really bad & icy out. but it is what it is i guess..parents kinda know it's a possibility so i guess they have a backup sitter or take a personal day...??
well every school from here to Pittsburgh cancelled, MY DAUGHTER JUST CALLED ME ON HER WAY TO WORK AND SAID THE SECONDARY ROADS ARE BAD. BUT HEY IF YOU GREW UP IN PA. YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO WINTER DRIVE, sorry about the caps. it looks like I am yelling. but I do not want to retype. but it seems like everytime we get some bad weather half the daycares close.
