Can anyone recommend?

a trip for time period b/w Christmas and New Years?
DH and I want to go away so bad and we're stumped...
Went all out for our honeymoon so either we'd do a road trip south (Florida or Atlanta) or caribbean thing...
Any suggestions?

I think you might be able to find some cheap last minute trips. A lot of sites have great last minute deals. Try travelzoo.com
Maybe you could do Savannah Georgia, i've never been there but i hear its beautiful. Or maybe Cancun, Miami, the Keys? HTH!
