Can anyone suggest a good shower favor?

I am responsible for buying favors for my friend's wedding and I was wondering what kind of favors everyone had.

It is going to be a big shower so I am trying to keep the cost down.

Any suggestions?

These cookies weren't my shower favors (those were wine stoppers) but they were my wedding favors. I think they're awesome - you can put a photo, a design, etc. I got them from Splurge Bakery, and they were awesome. The prices varied.

They actually tasted awesome. That was a big factor for me. I had ordered samples from several bakeries, and these were by FAR the best.

The Little Rock Shelter. I thought I can recall that this older woman would call the Opie and Anthony show for donations from the shelter and they would bother her like crazy.

Is it in Huntington?

Yes, Little Shelter. That's the place where they used to taunt the lady. But I visited it before I decided to donate there, and its very nice and they have a huge area where they house and care for a ton of homeless cats.

So that lady realy exisits. They would say the mos horrible things. I wanted to donate just becasue they tortured her.

I donate to an orgnaization where I adopted my dog. I also donate to Bide-a-wee.

I did truffles in a picnic basket for my wedding favors and everyone loved it! You can't go wrong with chocolates or candies esp when you buy them in bulk and get DIY boxes/pkg from Target, Party City, discount/wholesale stores. Just a thought-the M&M chocolates is different since you can print face images w/ wedding date or message but it can get a bit pricey to order the bags in bulks and separate it for the favors. Some practical items off the top of my head: a pair of flutes with name of couple & date of wedding, customized plate/mug with name of couple & date of wedding, key chain ...just a few ideas for thoughts.

My shower favors were cookies as well - my mom got wedding-themed cookie centerpieces from Cookies by Design and everyone took a cookie home at the end of the shower. They were delicious! It was perfect - both a favor and the centerpiece in one - saves money too.

my MOH bought tea cups from IKEA and tea, my theme was a tea party

it came in a 6 pack so one cup per guest.

Try favoriffic.com. I had purchased favors from there in the past... They have the lowest prices and quick delivery.

The best favor I've received thus far is a little ice cream scoop. Perfect portions and it's solid metal!

my sister got these pretty purse holders that you can use when you go to rest. Everyone loved them..... a friend actually tried to get them a another shower & they were all sold out.

At my shower, the favors were autumn-themed book marks (metal leaves with a tassle). Everyone looved them. My whole wedding was very autumn-themed so it was perfect, even though my shower was in August. I use mine all the time.

The tea idea is so super cute. I also purchased coffee cups from IKEA as a part of our favors for our wedding. They were cheap, and they were something that people can use!

I also love the coffee scoop favors, they are so nifty for those canisters that you put flour and sugar in.

I was just at a bridal shower where the favor was a box of 5/6 chocolate Lindt candies. They were so yummy. It doesn't have to be a big , huge, extravagant gift.
