of teachers??? i really wish i was off for the summer. especially now with the baby my job almost gets worse in the summer b/c instead of tapings every couple of weeks we have two shows that tape for two weeks STRAIGHT and i don't even get a break after they are done. i have to get right back into preparing for the fall season... complaint over..
ETA: i'm a producer for local TV station.

I'm with you ... my job also gets a ton busier in the summer with accommodating patients while they are home from school ... and people yelling at me when I can't because there aren't enough hours a day ... then again, they do that year-round ...

i am totally jealous too! especially cuz growing up all i wanted to be was a teacher!!
dont ask me what happened in college when i went to a buisness school and majored in marketing!!
its not fair!! every job should have summers off!!!

This is my first summer where I feel like a real teacher! I've always worked summer school but this year I turned it down at the last minute. I am working a specialized high school test prep program but that's only two hours a day four days a week. I feel pretty lucky this summer!

I totally should have been a teacher. being home with the baby and off for the summer makes me feel so young again-like im in hs your job seems very cool though! but must be hard leaving behind baby! i work for my fam so when i go back i can bring her--and our dog
