Can I have some fries with that shake?

DH and I stopped in at All American Burger last night. We were waiting on line and DH whispered to me I think that man is famous. I looked over and it was Daryl Strawberry!!!

He was waiting for his food. He was so nice to everyone signing autographs and posing for pics.

He was drinking a Strawberry shake.

I have his autograph from 1986... I love Darryl!!!

NY loves Darryl. he's won world series with both the mets AND the yankees.

What a great picture!!!!! That is so cool and I am offically jealous. Daryl Strawberry was one of my favorite players from the 1986 Mets.

Ha I read this and immediately thought of 2 things

1. very cool that you saw Darryl Strawberry AND
2. (and more importantly) - how jealous am I that you were at All American Burger (clearly, this healthy eatign thing is not going well for me!)

I am so mad I look so awful otherwise this would be our Christmas card.

Besides stalking him we were eavesdropping on his conversation. The owner of All American came out to say hello to him and he said 'everyday I drive by this place and it is always packed.' He must live in the area now.

I should have asked him for opening day tickets.

Thats awesome! Was he a nice guy in 'real life'? Always curious how famous people behave when they're just out and about.

OMG first Jared, and now this!!!!! That's truly exciting, I wondered what happend to D, he had a few horrendous personal crises there after leaving baseball. Glad he seemed a nice guy too!!

I wanna go on your Eat Fast Food/Meet Famous People diet. Will it be on Amazon soon?
