can i vent...

so i might sound like a hypocrite b/c in recent posts i have said that i am in no shape ready to become a parent but...

is it bad that i am jealous that my best friend just found out she is pregnant, and my other best friend is about 3 months pregnant?

Tom and I were slightly jealous when the first couple we hang out with became pregnant, but now we ARE more jealous about the second ...and we feel rotten about it. We wish we could be ready for this, but we know that we aren't just yet. Then Tom was like, 'well who is ever ready to a baby' you live and you learn '

please tell me im normal for feeling like this

Oh my god I can totally relate. Im not sure if i am jealous but I definitely am envious of my friends that are at this point in their lives. Brad and I just aren't there yet so we know having a baby would be the worst thing for us to do! But I can't help but feel slightly sad and a bit nervous since a large portion of our friends are pregnant or TTC. It makes me nervous that we won't have anyone to hang out with lol

I can understand. I mean while of course i am so very happy for all of my firends having babies, i guess i get a little sad knowing i was prego before most of them & now im not. Its hard & yes you get that little twinge but in the end its all Gods will & whatever will be will be. When its right it will happen. FOR ALL OF US!

totally normal!!
I'm the opposite though. I'm the friend who is married while my friends are all living the single, no responsibility, still in school life. And I sometimes get jealous that i cant really go on the spur of the moments trips with them while I'm saving for a house/family (and when i was saving for the wedding).

Now if my friends start buying houses before me...then unfortunately that jealousy monster will definitely appear its a part of life i suppose...

i know! i had wanted to go wine tasting for my birthday next month w/ a small group of friends and by small i meant like those two couples and thats TOTALLY out!

Just when you start to feel jealous...just think about sleeping in on a random Sunday morning, or going out to dinner spontaneously. That ought to cheer you up!
