can I wear a pale yellow

to a summer day wedding? (in Seattle).

Looking for something fun and different to wear to this wedding. Friends of Al's - know the groom better than the bride (I may have met her once or twice.)

I have other things I could wear but I'm BORED!!

what do you think:
(wouldn't be as full since I won't have the crinoline underneath)

I think they're both great, but I never got hung up on what my guests were wearing (a close friend w/a fantastic body wore a very revealing little black dress, and it might have bothered some brides but I thought she looked great). So, I'd just make sure the yellow isn't too pale if the bride is wearing ivory.

Personally, I wouldnt have noticed what anyone wore on my wedding day I was on such a high...but I think the first dress is a little too 'bride' to be completely within the realm of the rules. The second one is perfectly fine though.

Just my opinion but I think its borderline even without the poof. It really depends on the couple...they probably wont care at all and its a really cute dress.

The first one is beautiful. One of my best friends got married last year and I wore a similar dress and the bride thought it was beautiful and thanked me for dressing so appropriately for a summer outdoor wedding.

I think gold or tan sandals (it's yellow so stay w/warm colors), or sandals with little flowers on them.

I really don't think it's an issue for anything a guest wears, unless it's white. I think either dresses would be great

I like dress 2 better, and do find #1 a bit bridalish, even without the crinoline
