well if the rules changed, i hope there will be an update somewhere. I dont know what happened and i dont want to assume thats why she definitely got banned bc everytime we all start talking about something like this then we find out theres more to the story lol. But if that is the case, i think this is something we all do or at least most of us have done. Whether its through FM or in a thread, so if we cant do that it should be posted stating so.

That's not right. This is supposed to be an open forum where we help and support each other. It is not as if we are advertising vendors on behalf of them. We've had good experiences and want to pass that knowledge along. I didn't necessarily use LIW approved vendors. I actually came to this site AFTER I booked everything.
So then, what happens to ALL of the Bride's Reviews that mention non-LIW vendors ?

If thats why she was banned, than I am shocked I havent been banned as well! I used a LOT of non-LIW vendors and am constantly recommending them to the girls on here!

Oh no so I guess I am on the path of getting banned. A couple of girls have sent me FM's asking about vendors I used and I responded. I truly do think there has to be more to the story though. I thought solicitation was when you where soliciting business for yourself.

Thats what I said, too! I am constantly FMing girls about my hair and makeup person, especially, and she is not an LIW vendor! I don't get it!

hummm ok thats a valid point. But if someone asks us for a vendors number can we not give it to them? It's like I am not making anything out of recommending them, just helping someone out.
