I think you can recommend, you just can't solicit.

hummm ok thats a valid point. But if someone asks us for a vendors number can we not give it to them? It's like I am not making anything out of recommending them, just helping someone out.

When girls FM me about my hair/makeup girl, I totally give them all the info b/c they usually ask me prices, etc. I didnt even know that they could look at and track our FMs!

Client Services!!!!! We need the Board God's to let us know what we can/can't do. You've got a bunch of worried NW's. We get asked a lot of questions regarding vendors and we want to make sure we are playing by the rules.

There is a difference between recommending and free advertising. If it was a friend that isn't a vendor on here, why should we be able to advertise their services for free? It's not fair to the rest of the advertisers on here.

see, but thats what i dont know... i dont know if it was a friend she was advertising or if she just said, oh our photographers were so and so and they did a great job - you should check them out

So we don't really know the reason she was banned. LIW isn't going to ban someone just because. They are warned a few times about what they are doing.

You cannot FM another bride to promote your own business or a business where you are benefiting in some way by recommend it to them.
