Can someone please explain to me why, oh why ...

...I got up super early today to make it to a pre-work doctor's appointment... only to get there and see that the doctor's office was still CLOSED???

And the doorman of the building told me that the doctors don't really come in til TEN A.M. and the office doesn't open til around 9:30am????? Oh, silly me for still being there at 8:30am waiting for my APPOINTMENT!

Oh and nevermind that DH was asked to work today (his day off) because of the parade so he got up at 3:30am (and so did I because of the alarm).

Just lovely.

Sorry the doctor's office was a misadventure.

I finally just got through to their office and the lady was like, um you couldn't have had an appt for today, we don't open that early.

UH DUHHHHHHHHHHH

So she checks and she's like, oh your appointment is THURSDAY morning.

No lady, they told me Tuesday and I wrote it down, put it in my freakin calendar and was annoyed that I had to get up so early on a day early on in the week. Biotch. Oh and the doc's on vacation next week so I still have to go early on Thursday.

Just send a letter bomb..AFTER your appt. of course!

Getting used to the alarm yet ?
DH's goes off at 3:50 every morning. I'm getting good at rolling over and falling right back to sleep until mine goes off.

I would be so mad!!! I hope you have better luck on Thursday!!

that's ridiculous!!! sorry that happened, I would be so po'd, I hate getting up extra early!!!!! something kinda sorta similar happened to me when I went to a mani/pedi appt for my b-day 2 weeks ago and the snotty receptionist at the spa told me my appt was for 4PM, as I was standing there at 3PM.....and she said 'I know b/c I'm the one who took your appt' (as if she NEVER makes mistakes!!!).....I knew she told me 3!!!! sometimes people just won't listen b/c they want to blame you instead!! try to leave work early today to take a nap!

Thanks ladies. I'm pretty sure the lady I spoke to is the one that gave me the appointment in person when I was there on Friday too!
