Can you post your invitation shot?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm not sure mine is nice enough to include in our album...I hate the stupid lamp in the background...this is not the only pic of our invitation...we do have others...but, those are on the bed of the hotel and I hate the bedspread...ack!!!

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

If its your house and your lamp..i dont see why not to include it. It looks like a good enough photo to me.

We didnt do a traditional album so the only shot of my invite was in the lower right corner of this layout;

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

Stef...I think your photos are all so GORGEOUS AND INCREDIBLE...I can't even compare mine to yours!!!

ETS...and I'm doing a mixed album...some traditional and some not so traditional. I just don't want to leave out some pics that I'll regret not having in it later on...just don't know if I want to include this invitation one.

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

If you are 'eh' on this photo, then just leave it out. You dont want to devote space to something that might bother you later.

Would you consider just putting an actual invite into your album? Some people do that.

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

Yes, I've thought about that...

I have the option of putting something on the front cover of my album...I was going to do one of my favorite black and white non-traditional shots of DH and I...but also thought maybe the invite on the cover...

But, you know what...I don't think my invite is so special that it needs the 'front cover' treatment...know what I mean?

I'm just soooo confused...putting this album together is hard work...I'm already thinking about upgrading from 60 pics to 100...and DH is about to strangle me!!! LOL!

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

I wouldnt suggest putting the invite on the cover. Even if it were the most beloved thing, it would probably get destoyed after years of being exposed on a bookshelf.

But you could use it inside the album in place of a photo. Or on the same page as some smaller photos..like the invite on the right and then a small square photo of you getting ready and a small square photo of your hubby alone. Or maybe the invite and pics of the church? If you want to include your invite, you can make it work without it taking up too much space.

Hope that helps :D

me either.

But, I do have my actual invitation in the book itself. It's on it's own page right before the first picture. It was cleverly called 'The Invitation Page'

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

I don't have an invite shot either. My invite is a part of the first page in my album not the cover the first page in the album.

Re: Can you post your invitation shot?

How about ask them to brush out the lamp? I am not sure if I used the right word but I know I have heard people say something was in a picture and something was done to take it out.
