I test drove a CRV with options and loved it. My aunt has one as well. I ultimately bought a loaded Nissan Rogue. I did love the crv though, definitely test drive one!

Subarus are some of the best made vehicles on the road. Not everyone realizes that. The Subaru Forrester is a GREAT vehicle. I was a Honda owner for 5 years, but I would recommend Subaru as a product (esp their 4WD vehicles) any day. Good luck!!!

we have a CRV and our lease is up in August =( we're sad about it but I think we're gonna finance the new CRV bc we love it so much, it's so practical, doesnt guzzle gas but it's AWD so it's great in the snow and it drives like a car with the room of an SUV.

I second that! I was in a car accident years ago in a subaru and this thing crumpled everywhere except the cabin..it just totally diverted the impact around you and the other car slammed into my driver side door....I was lucky to be in that car.

One of my best friends has a CRV and loves it. I have a Murano, and they are similar rides.

Back in 1998, I was down to those two and the Rav4. I chose the Toyota and I'm so glad I did. It's better than the CRV and the Forrester, hands-down. I had my '98 for 6 years then my dad traded in mine and gave me his '02 RAV4 and I've had that for 6 years now. They're great vehicles.

Hi, I am visiting from 2010 board, I drove the CRV and the Forester and for me, the Forester won, hands down. I LOVE my car, it rocks. It's peppy enough, drives really well and the sunroof is huge. My parents have a CRV and honestly, the two don't compare.

If you have any questions FM me and good luck!

Yes, it's a crossover. I LOVED it. Mine was a 2009. I sold it last month when I bought a different car.

I have a Honda currently, but before this car I had a Subaru Impreza. Though I love my car now, I 100% wish I got another Subaru. They drive wonderfully, especially in terrible weather!

ETA: Also, their seats are the most comfortable seats EVER.

we test drove the CRV and Loved it...however then we test drove the Rav4 and we loved it even more because it was much larger inside (for DH's tools)

If we hadn't looked at the Rav4 we prob would have had the CRV...

If possible make sure the car is made in Japan no matter where you buy it from. We bought ours and its the japanese model, and didn't have any problems with recalls... (If this makes sense)

My family used to own a car shop and my dad makes sure all cars are japan made.... and we havnt had any problems :)

good luck!

Dont know about either... but my hondas have always treated me well and my parents continuously buy subaru outbacks and seriously the 4wd is an amazing thing on the subaru's.... When my condo complex was taking too damn long to plow that 27 iches of snow we got, I ran right through the pile with the outback... neighbors were SHOCKED

Buy a japanese from Toyota! They're the only ones off the recall list

We have looked at EVERY crossover on the market I think...and we're getting the Mazda CX9.

I dont love the way the CRV looks, I like the Mazda better...the Rogue felt sluggish when I test drove it. So did the CX7 Turbo.

We really came down to the CX9 and the GMC Terrain and the lease on the Terrain ******, so that was it...

Mazda is amazing!! I have an '05 tribute with a REDICULOUS amount of mileage and the car has been holding up great! ::knock on wood:: lol I dont want to jinx it. But I definitely think our next car will be another Mazda bc we really have had no major issues with it considering the amount of milegae we have on the car. I think you made a great choice! Let me know how it is if you definitely get the CX9 bc I think thats what H and I are thinking about in the future.
