I haven't been to Carvel in so long. I only go for the vanilla soft serve.

I could use some ice cream now...especially if it's free!!!

Well since it's soda, ice cream it's 8oz!

so for 4.5oz of Vanilla ice cream it's 270 calories 15 grams of fat - then figure the calories from regular soda.

So I'm sure you can substitute diet soda & frozen yogurt!

I haven't been to Carvel in AGES....when DH & I go on an ice cream run, we always go to Friendly's.....Carvel ice cream is sooo yummy though

I would take Dairy Queen over Carvel ANYDAY.

In MI was the first time I ever had DQ. I fell in love. I fell in love to the tune of 15 lbs lol =/

it really is good! I lived in NY all my life, so the only time I ever tasted it was when I went on my senior trip to Virginia Beach. Yummmm!!! Now i have one 30 seconds from my house (no wonder I'm packing on the NW pounds).

Anecdote - When DH came to visit NY, I pointed out the Carvel to him, telling him that it was OUR version of DQ. He was like 'Carvle?' Yes that's how he pronounced it. Not car-VEL. But rather CAR-vle. What a nerd.

ETA - I've been thinking about it and what is up? Down my street within a mile radius I have a Sonic, a Dairy Queen, and every type of fast food imaginable. No wonder it's soooo hard for me to stay healthy here. (probably why nobody does. lol)
