cheapest flight?

so MIL decided she's going to treat all of us to a long weekend in vegas (4 nights); she's paying for the rental house we need to cover our own airfare. we're thinking july or august because itll be cheaper, but does anyone know when is the best time to look for flights? someone told me if you look late at night or early in the morning they're cheaper? (like the actual search, not the flight itself)

Tuesday night ! Like... nOW lol. But monitor flights for a week, you'll get the feel for prices after a while. I usually refresh airfare info 10x a day for a week or two

Someone once told me Wednesday nights... or maybe I read it on LIF... but try skyscanner... they list flights from several different websites.Once I found my brother $500 round trip airfare to Madrid!!

thats awesome. so far the cheapest i can find is 238 each way per person leaving on a thursday and coming home on a monday. i'm definitely going to check tomorrow night tho.
