If you feel that all the things mentioned in keohime's post about cheating are, in fact, cheating in your book - which, if any of those would you consider forgiveable?
I know there are many people out there who feel ANY cheating is unforgiveable, period. But are there any things you think you COULD forgive?
Some examples:
A kiss? A drunken kiss? Phone sex? Oral sex? A 'date' where nothing physical happened? A night at a strip club? A lap dance? A strip tease by an acquaintance? A lesbian/gay kiss? A phone call? Cyber sex? Watching porn with someone?

I consider all of those cheating, except going to a strip bar. Not that I agree with it, but if DH went w/ his buddies, for no apparent reason, then I think I would consider it cheating. But DH has been to bachelor parties where there was strippers, I don't consider that cheating though.

A kiss? I would consider forgiving, don't know if I could, but I would consider it
A drunken kiss? same as above
Phone sex? don't know if I could forgive
Oral sex? would NOT forgive
A 'date' where nothing physical happened? not forgive, what the Hell is he doing on any kind of date with another woman?!
A night at a strip club? no problem with that
A lap dance? again, no problem
A strip tease by an acquaintance? if I was there, I may find it homorous, if not I would be pissed, but I would porbably get over it
A lesbian/gay kiss? ewww!!!
A phone call? as innocent as it may seem, I would wonder what his intentions were- it would all depend on the circumstances
Cyber sex? not acceptable
Watching porn with someone? I don't know if I would run a file for divorce, but it would be a big problem

I'd forgive a night at a strip club and watching porn with other guys. Possibly a gay kiss, it depends on the particular situation.

A lap dance or a strip bar is forgivble, as long as it is w/ a bachelor party.

Hitting on a waitress (with no intenion of following through with any of it)? My Dh wouldn't do that, but if he did, I would be pissed but I wouldn't consider it cheating or file for divorce.

Sitting alone in a car with a woman...just talking? depends on the curcumstances that got them into a car together in the first place.
Hitting on a waitress (with no intenion of following through with any of it)? if he was hitting on her, like trying to get her number, it again can be a prelude to cheating. If he was just flirting with her I wouldn't care.

hmmm...
I love him so much, I think I would eventually forgive him almost anything. I am shamed to admit it, but I know I would probably forgive him if he did any of those things on your list - or mine. Unless, that is, I found out about it through someone else.
I think the only thing that I would find absolutely unforgivable is if he fell in love with someone else -- crushes are okay, infatuation is okay, love is special. Even if it was unconsumated in anyway, I still would be unable to forgive.
I know - I am such a sap, aren't I??

Im not unforgiving in general but when it comes to this type of stuff I am...I wouldnt do any of the above so Id want DH to have the same respect for me.
