Check for Missing Gifts!!!!

So my wedding was 2 month ago and I found out over the weekend that DH's coworker brought gifts off our registry and brought them to our hall... And nope, I dont have them... And what scared me is that both the friend and the maitre d said there were other gifts there as well... I am fuming bc I have no idea how they never got to me...

So my word of advice here... If you dont see a gift from someone, ASK THEM IMMEDIATELY about it because you dont want to go through what I'm going through now...

Please send your prayers this way that they turn up somehow/somewhere...

I agree with you. I never got a card from one of my BMs. When I returned from my honeymoon she asked why I hadn't cashed her check. Turns out her DH left the card on the table and we never got it.
I didn't have to ask, but if she hadn't brought it up I would have thought they didn't give us anything.

Oh no....did you call the RH and ask them what happened?? ing that they will turn up!!!!!

That happened to us too, but our wait staff gave it to us. One of our guests left it by their table, and didn't tell us about it. They found it as they were cleaning, and luckily we were still at the RH.

I hope they turn up somewhere.

This happened to my best friend (who was also one of my BM's) when she got married at East Wind back in 2001. My card (that had $300 cash in it along with about 10 other cards went missing) It was awful to think there are some really cruel people out there to steal from a bride & groom on their wedding day, but sadly it happens - more often than you think. There was actually a case over the summer -not sure if it was in NY or NJ - but the bride & groom had one of those bird cages for their cards...(how this happened I have NO idea) but someone took the entire bird cage w/ the cards (I think I remember the bride saying like there was about $30,000 in gifts/money) - luckily in her case - about 90% of the gifts were checks & the people who wrote them were able to stop payment on the original checks & write new ones. It ***** when you lose cash though - that's why I never give cash anymore in a wedding card after what happened w/my best friend.

I really hope the gifts turn up for you - I will definitely say a prayer for you.

Thats is awful!! I had my wedding at East Wind and I had no problems, I also had a few boxed gifts around and card box.
