check out my 'getting ready' montage

thanks to espo for pointing me in the direction of the video converter she used......so far I was able to upload my getting ready montage.

ok, so far this is as close as I've come to uploading the highlights lol.......this is a clip of the menu page 'montage'.....I'm still working on getting the actual highlights up

thanks! I converted the rest of the video, but I'm having a problem saving them as clips (right now they're like 25 minutes long each).....I've been trying to 'trim' the video for just the highlights....I'll make sure to post the links if I can ever figure this out!!

thanks! I converted the rest of the video, but I'm having a problem saving them as clips (right now they're like 25 minutes long each).....I've been trying to 'trim' the video for just the highlights....I'll make sure to post the links if I can ever figure this out!!

hmm..ok well lets see. i hadda do the same thing for my non pro clips. My mom has a vaio laptop which comes with a program called click to dvd..what i did was make the clips the size i wanted.. then i burned to a DVD and re uploaded... yea a big pain..lol!!! U can try windows movie maker..but that doesn't always read the type of file properly. i'll see if i can remember how i usually do it~ lol!!!

thanks!!! I started playing around w/ it last night, but had to quit b/c I had to be at work today! I was in 'windows movie maker' but it wasn't reading the file, so I started playing around with the 'any video converter' that I downloaded to see which format would be read by the movie maker. why does this have to be such a PITA!! the 'any video converter' program was working great at first, but now it's not 'trimming' the file where I want it to....I trim it and then it plays it from the beginning anyway. thanks for your help!!!

thanks!! its nice to hear you say that, since I almost wish I booked someone else for video.....Duet did a great job, but I think they lack the musicality I would've liked to see (timing the music more to the video clips).....but I guess that's just the perfectionist in me

YEP! We are definately our own worst critics!!! I honestly love the video though!

Helen, it looks great!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see the rest! I'll have to bug you once I get my video to find out how to convert it (that said, how long ago did you submit your songs? - we submitted ours mid October, so I imagine it will still be a while before we get anything right?)

we submitted it around the beginning of August, they said it would be 3-4 months, it was ready on November 14th.....so I guess it was about 3 1/2 mths. But since I submitted it when they were still in peak season w/ weddings, maybe yours will be ready a little quicker. I can't WAIT to see yours!!!!! I'm sure I'll need a kleenex, your video will be so beautiful & touching, I just know it!

and btw, if you watched the 'menu montage' I posted, yours will probably be similar, since they used the same song for Mimi's menu too ('Heaven'). I love that song so much w/ the footage, it almost makes me wish I picked it for an actual montage!
