I saw on some channel that they will be covering the wedding from 5am!!!!
isn't that crazy!!!!!
But I can't wait!!!!! I would much rather watch 12 hours of happy news coverage than something sad like mj's funeral!!!
Besides I love weddings!!!
And check this out.... the nearby b&B that has been on TV the Beekman Arms, DH and I have stayed there!!!! It is so nice!!!
Oprah is staying there with a bunch of other celebs its sold out!!!
Dh's parents go there all the time in fact we actually bought them a gc for a free night there for our rh dinner!!!
Also i *think*we went on a tour of the mansion where she is getting married. I just forgot the name of the mansion!!! It is beautiful and overlooks a lake and is on this big hill!!!
I am just overly excited... I know!! I am pathetic!!!

Re: chelsea clinton
I heard that other people getting married that day cant get hotel rooms & people driving in will have to be checked. etc. i think thats terrible. I also heard that tax payers will be footing some of the wedding bill. JUST GREAT!

Yeah I read that article about the girl whose wedding is that day just a few miles from where Chelsea's wedding is and how she's really worried they're going to have to delay the reception because driving from the church to the reception is going to take hours instead of minutes due to all the street closures.
I feel like Chelsea Clinton could've chosen to get married at some resort somewhere where it didn't have to interfere with so many others' lives, especially other brides. I hope there aren't too many complications that day.

Re: chelsea clinton
I feel so bad for Chelsea. She is an excited bride just like most of us were last year and she picked her place and planned her wedding the same way we did. She has every right to get married where and when she wants. Its not her fault the intense media coverage is making such a splash. And that since she is the former president's daughter she is going to have high profile guests attending.
I think it was totally uncalled for and 'bratty' (and trust me I know bratty LOL) for that other woman to tell the newspaper her story and comparing her wedding to Chelsea's and complaining. She isn't even getting married at the same place as her. That lady doesn't own the town and in my opinion Chelsea has just as much a right to get married in that town as anyone.

****It was $2500 that came out of tax payer dollars in order for security to be present and there is a rumor going around in the media outlets that because of the backlash the Clintons are going to pay the town back the $2500 since they have already spent $3,000,000 on the wedding

ITA!!! why should she have to go somewhere else? besides she has the money and if anyone of us had it like that and wanted to get married in a particular place we wouldnt let anyone stop us....
besides the media is the one that is causing all the problems, not chelsea so why should she be made to look bad!!
