Re: chick fil a controversy

I don't know... I don't really care.

They are a southern based company and agree or not, a LOT of people from the South are conservative, VERY religious folk.

They are free to make a statement like that just like they would be free to say 'We serve everyone but we just want the world to know that WE LOVE GAY PEOPLE GETTING MARRIED!' etc.

It's not like they're saying 'Hey, we'd rather you gay people not come to our restaurant.'

The guy who owns the company has invested a lot in keeping the company big on scholarships and community service and Im' sorry but I really respect a guy who makes it a company wide policy NOT to be open on Sunday.

... I'd love Chick-fil-A any day of the week but I think it's amazing that they keep this policy going.

They sell chicken. They aren't anti-gay. They don't believe that gay people should be allowed to get married.

... do you know how many people in this country just happen to agree with them?

This is New York -- people are different in other parts of the country.

And that's the bright side of this story is that no one is asking anyone to.

Free speech, baby. No one has to agree with anything but likewise, no one has to buy Chik-fil-A food either.

Although, you're a dummy if you don't because they are wicked good.
