Chick Fil A in NYU

Has anyone ever been to this? Where exactly is it? Reason I ask is that my dad is going to have his surgery at NYU and it would cheer him up to have that for lunch or dinner one day during recovery.

I don't know, but did you know that all Chick Fil A's are closed on Sundays?

Yep. The founders didn't like to work on Sundays, so they never opened their chain on a Sunday.

hmmmmm.....at / in NYU med center?? I haven't worked in that account for a couple of years (I have manhattan North now) but I don't recall. I will ask around....

I found this out the hard way - went on vacation somewhere, got all excited when I saw a Chich Fil A - went on the last day I was there (a Sunday) and they were closed....was so ticked off! They have the best nuggets and I love their waffle fries!!!!

PS - DH's sister is an NYU recovery room nurse and she is really great as are all of her colleagues so I hope this puts your mind at ease...if even just a little bit! Let us know when he goes in and we'll send lots and lots of prayers!

Nah, just didn't want to work. I though the same until a few months ago when I was intrigued enough to look up the phenomenon.

My dad had the choice of doctors and the guy who does the surgery at NYU is world renowned...so we're taking the trip into the city for him. I'll definitely post when he's going in cause you can never have too many prayers!!!! TY!!

The school is in Greenwich Village (west 4th right off of Broadway) and the hospital is on 1st ave at like 31st (Murray Hill).

Its in the NYU school food court, you just walk in and chick-fil-a is all yours. Yes, I have gone there just for that

Probably within the next couple weeks I'll be in the city for my dad's surgery - if anyone's a die hard Chick Fil A finatic and wants to meet me for lunch that day just let me know!

we have a ton here, its just fried chicken. we hated it, not only because the coating is weird, but it tasted gross. the huge thick black hair BREADED into my chicken tender didnt help either.

Wait a hot @ss minute....i have been going to NYU for the past 4 years and I am fully unaware of this. Now, I can't recall that I've ever eaten at a chickFA but I love nuggets and I would love to know where the eff this thing is??!?

I suppose I have spent most of my time in the graduate building...but where oh where could this thing be hiding? This is my last semester......

Crashing - it's in Weinstein Hall on University Place. I did my masters at NYU and found it there by accident one day.
