Choose the Subtitle for the Newlywed Cookbook

As much as you suggested it I don't think the top two titles will work well together and I am pretty sure we can not have any mention of LIW, Long Island Weddings, LI Weddings or any combo of that on the book....

So how do we want to word the subtitle of the book. Its your book ladies so I leave it up to you. If you have other suggestions please write them in.

As of last count the title winner seems to be 'Down the Aisle and Into the Kitchen' but that vote will remain up until tomorrow night.

I like this too.

Do you think there's a way to upload it to blurb or something so we can all just pay for our own printings of the book itself and order it?

I can look into it. Not 100% sure what you mean but I will try to find a way to do that. if you have a more exact suggestion for doing that FM me. I do want to create a pdf file of it.

It got really long... thanks to all our wonderful recipes. I tried to condense it with font sizes and by putting the ingredients side by side, but I want people to be able to read it so I don't want to go lower then a size 11 font. And I don't want recipes split over two pages, so the plan to print it for everyone for the luncheon is getting a little ambitious, it might be a 60 page book (30 front and back).

I volunteered to print the cookbook. I can probably print for everyone that is attending..as long as it doesnt get too big but I would print it 2 sided to save paper and it will be in b&w.

Cindy after the deadline we will chat, I had some ideas to print it cheap, but I do fear its going to be to long to print at all. We had so many recipes. But you know its a great book so I am ok.

Re: Choose the Subtitle for the Newlywed Cookbook

Blurb is a publishing site but I'm afraid you might have to re-upload everything. Basically, you'd make the book once and anyone who wanted to purchase it could buy it through there like you'd buy a book on amazon.com or something. I think you'd actually get a cut of all sales too to offset the cost of all your time and hard work.

I know i'd spend $25-30 on a really nice cookbook, and I think they're even cheaper on there. It might be worth looking into or I can if you want.

Problem with that is that we don't really have the rights to many of the recipes as I am sure many of them originated from other books and/or websites in the past, even if the person supplying it doesn't know it. I know there are several that came directly off websites and out of cookbooks. Also I am not buying all the clip art. I don't want to get into a legality issue so selling it is a problem. If there is one thing I learned in film school it is how important and serious copy-write is taken. We will figure out some way to easily distribute it to everyone. I have over a month from the deadline to the luncheon to finish the book and figure it out.

And I don't mind doing the work for free but thanks for that.

Makes perfect sense.

Thanks for all your hard work! I have one more cookie recipe to add but I have to type it up.

well my recipes you have the copyright to!

I think the most popular has a problem, we are newlywed, not the cookbook.
The cookbook belongs to the newlyweds....you need the s'

Unless we have a wedding for it
