we're down to one car now though - so it's like 45 minutes for me in the AM and 30 in the evening. i go home and then go back for dave at 9:00 - when he gets out of work.

about 35-40 minutes on the subway to midtown
about 30-45 minutes if not a lot of traffic to westbury from queens

DH- it depends. He either works from home or commutes about 50 minutes to the studio.

If we're talking door to door:
Me: 45 minutes (take the subway) DH: 1 hour (also takes the subway, but then has to walk or take a bus when he gets off the subway).
When my office moves in September, my 45 min. commute will become 1.5-2 hours each way

Me - about 15 minutes (streets)
DH - about 3 minutes (less than 1 mile!!) (its only that long because we park our cars down the block - in the opposite direction -- so he has to walk down the block to get in his car)

Door to door mine is: about an hour and 15 min by LIRR and subway. Hubby's depends on what customer he sees.
