COMPLETE VENDOR REVIEW - My 3/28/04 wedding!

Hello girls!!

Well, I've been married for over a month now, and I figured it was about time I posted my vendor reviews!! All across the board - they were amazing! Not a single thing went wrong and I couldn't be happier with the services we recieved on our wedding day! I traied to include everything, but feel free to FM me if you want to know more! I hope these reviews are helpful to you if you are using any of these too! Here goes!

RINGS(wedding/engagement): Elsa's A+
We got my engagemtn ring here and were so impressed with thier personalized service that we ordered both of our wedding bands here as well. Elsa's is one of those rare places where they educate you, but treat you like the only customer in the stoare at the same time! No pushy snottiness here!! We worked with Elsa and Stefan personally and they created the most beautiful custom rings for us - that I still get compliments on my e-ring to this day! The rings are absolutely stunning, and Iam so happy we used Elsa's as our wedding jeweler!

RECEPTION/CEREMONY: Fox Hollow: A+
Not much more can be said about this place other than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The food was fantastic, the people were unbelievably wonderful and helpful and our entire wedding day was handled with such professionalism and attention to detail that I can't stop telling everyone about the Fox Hollow! They really made our day perfect, Craig and I were treated like royalty and I will be forever grateful to FH for giving me the wedding of my dreams!

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY:
ProLine Studios: A+
From our first meeting with Pura, we were really impressed with ProLine. Great prices for the packages too!! David was our photgrapher and he was so awesome! Friendly, professional, he got all the pics we wanted in a matter of what seemed like minutes, and not once did we ever feel pushed around or rushed. He also handled my exteneded family (stepfather, divorced parents, etc.) very well, which I was very relieved about! Our proofs came back absolutely beautiful and so FAST! We had them a week after we got back form our honeymoon and now I can't wait to pick out our album now! The videography was wonderful as well - he captured moments that I didn't even remember until we looked at the video! Very respectful of our space and we barely even knew he was there!

LIMO: Royalty Limo A+
Excellent service! We had one 14 passenger limo for the girls and I, and he was there on time, early even! The car was in pristine condition, and our driver was so funny, he kept playing the 'Here Comes the Bride' horn all the way to our pictures location! :)

FLOWERS: longislandweddingflowers.com A+
Lisa Otis is BY FAR the most talented and affordable silk floral arranger on the island! My sis used her for her wedding last year, and I loved her work so much that we used her for ours as well! She was so wonderful to work with, and after meeting just once, she knew exactly what we wanted and created the most beautiful arrangements for us! Her silk flowers were so lifelike that even our Maitre'D though my bouquet was real! :)

MAKEUP: Beautiful Beginning Cosmetics A+
Patti is amazing!!! Not only is the the sweetest person in the world, but her makeup was exactly what I was looking for and I was amazed with her work the second I had my trial! Her makeup was so beautiful that I felt liek a princess all day and I couldn't get over how many compliments I recieved! She came to my house the morning of the wedding, and she was so much fun that I felt like she was one of the girls helping me get ready :) Great!

HAIR: Hair Designers A+++
I'm so lucky that this is literally right up the street from my house! I've never met a nicer bunch of people! From my first visit for my trial, I was immediately welcomed into the store and the staff was so warm and friendly, that by the time I left, I felt like one of the family! Hy hair came out gorgeous, it was exactly as I had pictured it, and my bridal party, mom, and mother in law all looked so pretty! Extemely afforadable too, which was a breath of fresh air after being told at one point that I wouldn't find a place to do my hair for less than $100!! Quality service, friendly staff, and beautiful hairstyles, it's become my new local hairdersser!!

DJ: 1-800 Let's Dance A+
The BEST DJ ever!!!! Joe Ciminna Jr. was so great to work with, he gave us an amazing price and did all of the music for our entire day! Our DJ was amazing, they played all the songs we requested, and he was the perfect blend of party-starter and crowd pleaser! Another reference from my sister's wedding - they made our day so much fun, I will never forget all the attention they put into our wedding day!

Miscellaneous:
FAVORS - Audrey's Bakery A+
We won a gift certificate from the 2003 Bridal Expo for Audrey's Bakery, and we used it towards our favors. Tom was an angel to work with, he made us the most adorable wedding cake cookie favors and they tasted so good too!! I was so impressed with what he did just based on one meeting and a few phone conversations, that I wish they could have catered our cake as well!

KILT RENTALS - Piper's Cove (NJ) A
My husband is Scottish, and it was always my dream for my groom & groomsmen to wear kilts! Althought NJ was a little out of the way, and it was hard to get the entire party togehter at once to go for the fittings, Piper's Cove was very accomodating to our distance and we were able to schedule at our convienence. The rental package was about the same, if not less than the normal tux rental cost, and it came with everything, including instructions on how to properly wear the kilt! :) The kilts turned out to be such a hit, and the guys all looked so handsome! Craig being the most hansdome, of course! :)

DRESSES: Macy's Bridal Salon A
Great store! I was lucky to have nothing but great experiences every time I was there! I purchased my dress and veil there. My dress was stunning and beautiful, and the fittings made it look as if the dress was custom made just for me! All the girls that work there were so sweet and helpful, and my bridal party and mom all got their dresses there as well.

TRAVEL: In and Out Travel A+
Dave was so cool! He was so helpful and wonderful to work with, and Craig and I were really happy with how special they made us feel as we planned our honeymoon! The honeymoon registry was a different twist, and it was a great present from my bridal party at my shower too! Wonderful service, and so personal! We'll be sure to use In and Out Travel for any other vacations in the future!

Congratulations! Your day sounds great! We almost booked there, I liked it a lot.

Make sure and post this on the Bride's Review board, too! That is where the brides to be will search for your review.

Happy 1 month wedding twin!!! You sound like u had a great day. I still have to do my review. Where did u go on your honeymoon? We are going on ours in July. DH is a teacher.

hi princess! :) Hope your 3/28 wedding was wonderful too!! We went to Disney for our 2 week honeymoon and it was so absolutely wonderful!!! It was the best place to celebrate our new married status, and we came home with over 800 pictures! :) More to come on that soon!
