It's such a weird feeling that came out of nowhere. DH and I have been talking about it non stop the last month and a half.
It's not like I have a 'clock ticking'. It literally feels like my insdes are screaming to have a baby. Its so strange because I was never into babies until I met DH. We're so madly in love we want to make something together..
We're still on BC, and not going off it until we sell 1 of our 2 apartments. We don't want to be with child with all this real estate mayhem that's going on..Besides that though, we are totally ready mentally, physically, and financially for children.
But seriously all I want for Christmas is
Make it stop!! LOL
Who else feels like this or can offer me words of wisdom?

I am sort of ready, DH is not at all, but we both agree want time to ourselves to be married and live together first and were not really there financially. For now I have the puppy to mother so that is satisfying me.

i felt like this even before the wedding! always wanted a baby soo bad!! now that everything is falling into place, the wedding is over, we are buying a house, baby is the only thing left to make my life perfect!! im hoping to start trying in the summer!

If you have the 'fever', I hope you caught the episode of Kendra last night! It was sooo sweet, I was literally crying while watching! Tears of happiness and sympathy for her 26 hours of labor!!!!!! That freaked me out a bit!

ETA: Now I am wondering if there is something wrong with me. Like everyone has the fever and I don't. I seriously worry about this. Is this normal? I feel like it's normal to get married and have this need to make babies. I don't feel that at all. I mean, I love DH and all but honestly, kids as much as I love him are far from my mind. I hope I get the fever one day.

I have major baby fever now too! But for DH and I it looks like we're going to wait another year or two. We want to be able to buy a house or a condo and maybe try for me to stay home for a while. I would hate to have to put my 3 month old in day care or leave it with a nanny. That's probably the only thing stopping us though. Oh that plus we want to go on a few more nice vaca's before then.

I have it too!!! I have no advice... because I too am a sufferer. I even admit to stalking baby blogs and maybe even getting wayyyy to excited when I found out that Restoration Hardware had a baby store.
If I find a cure, I'll tell you!!! Until then, I guess we can either decide to take the 'wait until you can do it without all the stress' approach or the 'go for it' approach

I watched as well. I cried too. It was so sweet. Like for a second, I wanted a baby but then it quickly passed. And, I think Hank is a fricken hottie. OMG!
