Confession-I've got 'the fever'

Yes, I finally admit it.....................

I have baby fever BAD.

It's such a weird feeling that came out of nowhere. DH and I have been talking about it non stop the last month and a half.

It's not like I have a 'clock ticking'. It literally feels like my insdes are screaming to have a baby. Its so strange because I was never into babies until I met DH. We're so madly in love we want to make something together..

We're still on BC, and not going off it until we sell 1 of our 2 apartments. We don't want to be with child with all this real estate mayhem that's going on..Besides that though, we are totally ready mentally, physically, and financially for children.

But seriously all I want for Christmas is

Make it stop!! LOL

Who else feels like this or can offer me words of wisdom?

Oh my gosh, I feel the exact same way! DH, on the other hand...well that's a different story! I just went off BC this month and I'm hoping that by the summer DH will want to try. My new year's resolution is to get myself baby ready - to really start taking care of myself more and save a lot more money.

I've gained a few pounds since the wedding and all this month I kept saying oh my gosh imagine I'm pregnant! DH was thrilled to death when I got my period this week!

ETA: Now I am wondering if there is something wrong with me. Like everyone has the fever and I don't. I seriously worry about this. Is this normal? I feel like it's normal to get married and have this need to make babies. I don't feel that at all. I mean, I love DH and all but honestly, kids as much as I love him are far from my mind. I hope I get the fever one day.

Oh I totally have the fever right now - well a few months ago it was worse - like I literally felt the same way - like I was going to go insane if I didn't have one RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now I still am ready but know we have to figure out a few things first - like DH is just graduating in 1 week from grad school - needs to get a job - we need to figure out a few other things but we do want to be super preggers by this time next year!

oh and my advice is once you have the baby (as I'm sure you know) that it will be forever before you have time that is just the two of you - and knowing how crazy you are about each other - enjoy that time and know everything will work out with creating the family and you have plenty of time!

You are totally not alone......I love DH sooooo much BUT we BOTH have no desire for kids right now.

I can offer no words of wisdom. I was you in the summer, and now the result is due in June. I say if you are ready go for it. The apartment stuff will work itself out eventually. DH & I both had the fever bad and just didn't want to wait. I am glad we took the plunge. I know I am of no help. Sorry.

I don't have the fever anymore! I have cold feet instead! I partied HARD for two nights last week for work stuff and I couldn't possibly imagine trying to take care of a child.

I'm just NOT ready yet!

I also have 'the fever'! The other night DH and I were talking baby names. I plan on going off BC in a few months but not officially trying till maybe the summer or even alittle bit later then that. We are definitley not financially ready to have a baby but if we wait for that we might never have one. So we are just gonna go for it! We will have to make alot of sacrafices but they will all be worth it in the end!

YAY!!!!! We have baby fever and knew we were going to start right away cause my clock is screaming!!!!!

I always thought DH was not as excited as me but we had talked about our plan but now all he says is 'LET'S MAKE BABIES'!!!!!!!

December was our first month trying so I am hoping for by the the springtime!!!

I want a baby sooooo bad... DH seems to want one too, but he wants to wait a year after we are married to start trying. I get scared though because when I see babies my heart melts yet when I see like 7-15 year olds (other than my siblings of course) I am like UGH...It makes me nervous that when my kids get older I will be less tolerant of them... I am hoping since they are my kids that wont be the case.

Those of you planning on going of BC, make sure you give yourselves time to regulate. It sometimes can take some time to ovulate and get your monthly schedule back in order. Just keep that in mind.

I don't think anyone is ever REALLY ready... it's just a go for it type of thing. One day DH parents said to us, 'we couldn't afford 4 of our 5 kids'. Don't wait to be in perfect financial condition... or you might be waiting forever.. I mean a little cushion is GREAT but waiting to be in that financial place that you dream of.... can sometimes takes years and years.

I guess what I'm saying is... if you're feeling it, then go for it. No one is ever really 100% ready to take that plunge.

Oh and I suppose you could say I have baby fever.

Aweeee seriously adorable! I am the exact same way. I never really wanted kids until I met DH... now all i want is a clan of babies that all look like him .. i have the baby fever badly too but i keep promising I will wait until i finish grad school and until we can get a little closer to having a bigger house. Our condo is small and we wouldn't be able to have a baby past the age of 2 in here.. unfortunately we wont be able to sell it for another 3 or 4 years (to make our money back)...

but I totally can relate on that feeling where you just want to have the baby RIGHT now. I stopped taking BC (because i hate how it makes me feel) so hopefully god is nice to us and doesn't bless us with a surprise until we are completely ready

Me 3! DH & I have no interest in having a child any time soon. We love our freedom waaaaay too much. I had 3 fish die in a 1 year time frame....I couldn't even do that right, I can't imagine a child.

But for those of you who are ready I say just Go for it! Just make sure you and your DH are on the same page.

Omg last night we went to a party for a girl that's like a sister and she is a babysitter to this kid and 2mth old baby and she was feeding the baby and she asked me if I wanted to hold her and I was in love I was feeding her and the girls mom even took a pic. My mom came back from bathroom and was going crazy over the baby like she wants to be a gma sooooo bad. DH pointed to her and said dnt get no ideas to her because we not having a baby... I know he was prob smiling as I held the baby but it is not the right time for one. We are having some issues with money and supporting ourselves and I'm at a job which was suppose to be temporary so until I get a job that I really want to be at we not having a baby....My mom tells me everyday that she is retiring when I have a baby so I can do anything and not worry
